Hi, I’m Gloria! I grew up in northern Illinois and moved to Tacoma to enjoy the Pacific Northwest and pursue my education. After graduating from the University of Puget Sound with a degree in geology, I decided to continue my studies in GIS at the University of Washington-Tacoma. 

 

I am continuously fascinated by the earth and nature, and I am dedicated to exploring my surroundings and searching for the beauty in our natural world. In my spare time I enjoy staying active, cooking scrumptious meals, and playing around on the piano. A fun fact about me is that I played trumpet in various ensembles for 12 years!
