3D Tacoma Median Income
Census Block Groups in Tacoma, Washington were downloaded and added to the Tacoma boundary. Points on the map represent median household income in neighborhoods.
Using the inverse distance weighted technique, household median income was interpolated over the city.
Data used in ArcMap was also used in ArcScene to create a 3D analysis of the median income in Tacoma. Higher incomes are represented with the color green and accentuated hills whereas lower incomes are represented with the color red and depressions.
